Women Run OC 2019 is open to runners of all genders and all ages and takes full advantage of Bolsa Chica State Beach with its beautiful mountain views across the wetlands. The marine air keeps the temperature perfect for running. It’s flat, fast courses go out and back on the paved beach path past surfers, sandcastles, and seabirds.
Highlights of the expo include yoga for warmup and cooldown, free massage, delicious Pupusas, and fun activities for the whole family. Proceeds support Safe Passage Heals, helping break the cycle of domestic abuse by healing and empowering women and their children, enabling them to live new, safe and productive lives.

| LASD Women’s Running Team is a team of dedicated and motivated public servants from the LA Sheriff’s Department, training hard for a better future.

| Races are exciting for everyone, and Ainsley’s Angels make sure their Athlete Riders are not left out.
But Ainsley’s Angels impact goes beyond endurance races. Through education and awareness-raising, the organization works to secure the special needs community its rightful active participation in local affairs.
This might be just the thing to give your races even more meaning. Get up close and personal to find out.
Ainsley’s Angel’s volunteers guide Athlete Riders as they make their way from close-in parking to their secure perch in AA’s adaptive racing chairs.
The thrill shows so clearly on the Athlete Riders’ faces as they are propelled off the starting line by the Runner. They draw cheers from the crowd and from runners like you. You got this!
Even if you don’t join Team Ainsley’s Angel, be sure to make it to their booth to get a wristband. That first step towards volunteering as an Angel will also secure a substantial onsite discount on registration for Women Run LA 2020 at Hansen Dam.
